RULES AND REGULATIONS

Forages, quantity spring grains, corn, and beans are a few of the most important crops produced in Stormont
County and in order to encourage product of these crops, the SAS is sponsoring a Field Crops and Commercial
Grain class.

RULES
1. All exhibitors must be members of the Stormont Agricultural Society.
2. All classes must be grown and harvested in current year, except for Classes 9, 14, 15, which will be from
the previous year
3. All applicable rules of Stormont Agricultural Society will apply.
4. All exhibits must be ready for judging by 11:30am, Friday (the first day of the fair)
5. Not more than one entry per class from each farm. Hay, haylage, silage, and spring grain will be displayed
in plastic bags provided by the fair.
6. Hay – an exhibit of one flake bales hay for each section.
Note – Current years new seeding is not eligible in classes n1-5 inclusive. (Section 24)

SECTION 24 - PRIZE MONEY

Prize Money Classes 1-9
1st Prize – $15.00, 2nd Prize – $12.00, 3rd Prize – $10.00, 4th Prize – $8.00, 5th Prize – $6.00

2. First cut mixed legume and grass, 70% or 30% either way.
