13. Flower Suncatcher – Cut out the center of a paper plate, cover the hole with clear tape (sticky side facing up), arrange real or fake flowers on the tape, seal the flowers in with more clear tape, decorate the rest of the plate, and add a string for hanging.

14. Robot – Using recycled materials, create a robot. Must be 12 inches or less..

22. Watering Can Flower Arrangement – Decorate a small- to medium-sized watering can (any variety, can be plastic) and pick 5–10 of your favourite flowers, in full bloom, to display inside. Must be real flowers. 

23. Paper Flower Bouquet – Using construction paper, make a bouquet of flowers with stems (stems can be made of any material) displayed in a vase or jar.

24. Bird Feeder – Using recycled materials, create a bird feeder. Include a string to hang it.

33. Flowers and Greenery – Display in a decorated pot/jar/vase. No artificial flowers. Can be garden flowers or wildflowers.

34. Pressed Flower Bookmark – 2½” wide and 8½” long

35. Lighthouse. Using recycled material, create a lighthouse. Include a battery-operated candle.

44. Halloween Centrepiece – Create a spooky centrepiece using flowers and greenery (real or artificial).

45. Flower Fashion – Using a drawn or printed outfit, glue fresh flowers to create a floral fashion display on 8.5”x11” cardstock.

46. Using recycled materials, create a fridge magnet with an inspirational message written on it.

53. Doughnuts – Homemade, any flavor (mini or regular), 3 displayed on a plate. 

54. Mini Layered Cake – Using cupcakes or mini cake molds, bake and decorate a 3-layered mini cake (circumference no larger than a regular cupcake).

55. Flower Initial Arrangement – Using fresh flowers, attach to cardboard, wood, or other sturdy material in the shape of the first initial of your first or last name. Must be able to stand.

56. Using bottle caps and/or other recycled materials, make an earring and necklace set.

64. Biscuits – Bake and display 3 homemade biscuits of any flavor.

65. Is It Cake? – Create a dessert that looks like something other than a dessert! It must fit on a paper plate inside a Ziploc bag.

65. Floral Headband & Hair Clips – Create a headband and matching hair clips using fresh flowers. Other materials can be used to attach the flowers.

66. Upcycled T-shirt Quilt – Use old t-shirts to create a custom quilt. Make it crib or lap size.

70. Entry to be the work of the exhibitor and taken within the last two years. Entries to be mounted on a piece of white Bristol board/cardstock approximately 15cm / 23cm in size. One entry per class. Prints may be titled or untitled. Name, age, and entry number must be on entry tag and attached to entry. Directors will disqualify pictures if not suitable for family viewing.

Exhibitor with the most points in Class 71 (a-h) 

• Prize will be decided at fair time. 

71. Open to all youth up to 15 years of age (as of December 31st of the current year). Entry must consist of (6) cookies on a clean, sturdy plate (no paper plates) sealed inside a clear plastic bag. Please attach tag with exhibitor’s name and address. Cookies to be no larger than 2.5” (6cm), and no smaller than 2” (5cm) 

1st Prize – $3.25, 2nd Prize – $3.00, 3rd Prize – $2.75 

District Competition –  If the winning exhibitor has won at more than one fair, the fair closest to the exhibitor’s home address is the agricultural society from which the entry will be sent to the district competition. An exhibitor may only enter into one district competition.

Provincial Competition – Same Rules as above but the winners will receive – 

 1st Prize – $20.00, 2nd Prize – $15.00, 3rd Prize – $10.00
