Heavy & Miniature Horses

GENERAL RULES FOR ALL HORSE CLASSES

1. All heavy horses must show a negative reaction to Coggins Test within the last six (6) months.
2. Any single horse or team of horses may only show in one classification, such as Heavy Draft, etc.
3. Heavy Draft horses to be 1,600 lbs. or over. Light Draft horses to be less than 1,600 lbs.
4. Commercial or General Purpose to be less than 1,400 lbs. and conforming to the type of a delivery horse.
5. Heavy Horse & Miniature. No Exhibitor may draw more than two prize monies in any one Class.
6. All horses must be entered at the Fair Office or designated contact before showing commences.
7. All entries must be the property of the Exhibitor or for a rider, the owner must be entered on the entry form and provide insurance information.

9. All horses to enter Fairgrounds by East Gate.
10. Heavy Horse gate admission will not be refunded on late entries.
11. All Exhibitors or owners if not the exhibitor is required to have their own liability insurance and show proof of same before exhibiting the horse entry.
12. Heavy Horse exhibitors will be issued an Admittance Pass upon receipt of entry form. (1) pass for every two (2) animals.

1.(M) Mini showing in halter – Mare or Gelding any age.

2.(H) Less than (2) Years – Mare or Gelding – All breeds.

3.(H) 2-years and over – Mare or Gelding – All breeds.

4.(H) 3-years and over – Mare or Gelding – All breeds.

5.(M) Junior Showmanship – youth, aged 18 and under.

6.(H) Junior showmanship – youth aged 18 and under.
