  1. FEMALE – Calf born March 1st, 2026, or later (Spring/Summer Heifer)
  2. FEMALE – Calf born December 1st, 2025 – February 28th, 2026 (Winter Heifer)
  3. FEMALE – Calf born September 1st, 2025 – November 30, 2025 (Fall Heifer)
  4. FEMALE – Spring/Summer Yearling born March 1st, 2025 – August 31st, 2025
  5. FEMALE – Fall/Winter Yearling born September 1st, 2024 – February 28th, 2025
  6. JUNIOR HERD – Group of (3) animals carrying the same prefix. The prefix is the first word of the animal’s name, and it must be exactly the same for each animal. These animals must have been exhibited in their respective classes. The owner of the prefix does not have to own any of the animals in the group
  7. FEMALE – Born September 1st, 2024 – February 28th, 2024, in milk (See General Rules #12)
  8. FEMALE – Born March 1st, 2024 – August 31st, 2025 (2-year-old Spring/Summer) in milk, dry or not yet calved or the first time
  9. FEMALE – Born September 1st, 2023 – February 28th, 2024 (2-year-old Fall/Winter) in milk, dry or not yet calved for the first time
  10. FEMALE – Born March 1st, 2023 – August 31st, 2023 (3-year-old Junior) in milk or dry. If dry, must be within approximately 8 weeks of calving
  11. FEMALE – Born September 1st, 2022 – February 28th, 2023 (3-year-old Senior) in milk or dry. If dry, must be within approximately 8 weeks of calving
  12. FEMALE – Born September 1st, 2021 – August 31st, 2022 (4-year-old) in milk or dry. If dry, must be within approximately 8 weeks of calving
  13. FEMALE – Born September 1st, 2020 – August 31st, 2021 (5-year-old) in milk or dry. If dry, must be within approximately 8 weeks of calving
  14. FEMALE – Born prior to September 1st, 2020 (Mature Cow) in milk or dry. If dry, must be within approximately 8 weeks of calving
  15. FEMALE – Longtime Production of 70,000+kg
  16. BEST UDDER CLASS – The Judge will designate a best udder in each milking class. These designated exhibits will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Best Udder in the show. Prize money will be paid to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
  17. BREEDER’S HERD – Group of (3) animals carrying the same prefix. The prefix is the first word of the animal’s name, and it must be exactly the same for each animal. These animals must have been exhibited in their respective classes. The owner of the prefix does not have to own any of the animals in the group

  1. $25.00 prize for each 4-H member showing calf project – Stormont Holstein Club
  2. Classes 1, 2, 3 must have a minimum of (3) entries/class or classes may be combined
  3. Stormont Holstein Club Class money or top-up to $300.00 if needed for classes 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 15 to a maximum of $1,000.00
  4. Classes 2, 5 – Sponsored by Finch Feed & Seed/Jamieson Campbell Ltd. $300.00 (split determined by number of animals shown)
  5. Class 9 – Sponsored by Bank of Montreal, Finch

  10. FEMALE – Born September 1st, 2020 – August 31st, 2021 (5-year-old) in milk or dry. If dry, must be within approximately 8 weeks of calving
  11. FEMALE – Born prior to September 1st, 2020 (mature cow) in milk or dry. If dry, must be within
  12. BEST UDDER CLASS – The Judge will designate the best three udders in classes 6,7,8,9, and 10. These designated exhibits will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Best Udder in the show. Prize money will be paid to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
  13. BREEDER’S HERD – Bred and owned by the exhibitor. Group of (3) animals limited to one exhibit per exhibitor. Exhibitor must have bred all (3) animals and own at least (2). The registration certificate for each respective animal must show the exhibitor as the “breeder” and as “owner”. In both cases, either as an individual or in partnership. In other words, the exhibitor may be a “joint owner” of an animal and/or “joint breeder” of an animal. Note the exception where one animal may be owned by another exhibitor

Open Coloured Breed Showmanship classes (Do not have to be a 4-H member)

  1. Pee Wee Class (under 9) – Dress-up class for pee wee 
  2. Junior Class – 9-14 Years 
  3. Senior Class – 15-21 Years

        East Gen Production Award shall be selected by Production Record and one at random draw of all exhibitors 

        CHILDREN’S CATTLE CLASS (SECTION 12) Saturday September 5th - 11:30am

        Open to all children who are aged 8 years and under on January 1st, 2026, Open to  all areas and breeds. 

        Each worthy entry $25.00 and ribbons.  

        All 4-H calves are excluded from this class.
